Education:
M.A., McGill University
Ph.D., University of California, Los Angeles
Fields of Research:
Research focuses on book art (artist pamphlets, book objects, bibliophilic works, etc.) created by Francophone writers and artists since 1945.
I am interested in collective commemoration, postcolonial canon-building, transnational collaboration, and the subversion of Eurocentric reading norms through the use of creative material forms. I have published articles on Quebec poetry in the U.S. and Canada. My translation of Tombeau de Lou (2001) by Denise Desautels is forthcoming from Éditions Guernica under the title Things that Fall.
